I failed to send you the dates and locations for the Youth Awareness conferences this year...I will try to take a picture of each one and email you all of them by district when I complete them. They area as follows:

Just to let everyone know that I need each lodges cooperation in Youth Awareness this time out. We will still be conducting it by district again this year. Each lodge either needs to check with members who may have a student that is a Junior or Senior in High School this year or if members have grandchildren that is looking to compete for scholarship money. All Chapters are also encouraged to assist and or sponsor someone. If no members has children than contact the guidance counselors at high schools in you area. As we spoke at the convention the scholarship money awarded at the national level should the student win at the state level has raised. The amounts that can be won is as follows:

Hopefully each lodge is aware that if they do not have a student sponsored they have no chance of winning the 5 star award as participating lodges are awarded 10 points toward the award. So each lodge in the district should help one another to fulfill this obligation and each district should have 100 percent cooperation. There is no excuse if you don't have a student sponsored.

This is my first year doing this and I am trying to come up with ideas to really make the conference enjoyable to the youths participating. So I am asking as you have supported me in the past with YCC etc. to not let me down and keep up all that you do. I really appreciate it and the fellowship that comes with it. Let's all get on the bandwagon and get 100 percent participation this year. Nothing would make me prouder than to have an international winner my first year out and each lodge to receive that prestigious 5 star award.
